About Us

I’ve been working with wood for most of my life, however when we purchased a home in Sidney, I was lucky enough to find one with a separate shop space. EC Woodworks started here, in Sidney Montana in 2021, and what started out as a casual hobby, turned into a little more. As I worked on building my shop, I wanted to be able to purchase new and better equipment, so I started on the idea of making epoxy lake signs. I knew that I would not be able to do this with just the “standard” equipment, so, I researched and found that I would need to purchase a CNC machine and design software. Over the course of the next year or so, I taught myself in computer automated design (CAD) as well as computer automated drafting (CAD). The results are what you see here, on my website!
